Reach your listeners with two innovative programs designed to help moms and dads. Parenting Today’s Teens is offered to you as a 1-minute daily or a 25-minute weekend program. Both program formats are designed to help parents find practical solutions for their sometimes knotty child-rearing issues.
Parenting Today’s Teens features author and speaker, Mark Gregston. Mark is the founder and executive director of Heartlight Ministries in Longview, Texas, where fifty high school students reside on a sprawling one-hundred acre campus in a one-year curriculum. With more than thirty years of experience helping parents and their teens, the Heartlight residential program has provided a natural laboratory for resolving tough problems and is the basis for the wisdom and insight shared on Parenting Today’s Teens.
These two programs are not promotional in nature. They are specifically produced to help parents, and even grandparents, with children 10 years and older. And there is no fund raising on either feature. As such, Parenting Today’s Teens is offered as a public service to radio stations and their listeners. You are invited to find local sponsors for either program.
1-Minute Daily Format
Mark Gregston gives a daily parenting tip for moms and dads. This feature is produced with two background music bed options … either inspirational or contemporary … and can be run in a fixed time slot or ROS.
25-Minute Weekend Format
In a fast-paced magazine style format, Mark Gregston and Wayne Shepherd discuss contemporary issues confronting families and offer biblical solutions. Mark will often interview experts on family issues, or speak with a parent or teen about their problem solving efforts.
The sponsoring organization is the Heartlight Ministries Foundation … a non-profit 501(c)3 organization. The Heartlight therapeutic program for teens is also a non-profit organization.
